fixing the problem on our southern border

The war on drugs is a failure.

We need to allow people to sell their drugs in peace as long as they do it within 100 yards of a harm reduction center. We should allow drugs to enter our borders as long as they pass quality control inspections. Drug dealers must be licensed and they must pay taxes including a tax on sales and a fair import fee to cover the cost of inspections and the cost of a yearly license. Other than that they are free to sell their drugs here. They will make so much more money even after taxes because they wont be taking legal risks or risking having their products seized. The US government would collect billions of dollsrs in taxes and an untold amount of savings in lieu of the current prison system.
